FOLLOW UP
A current, unresolved quote with enough context for your team to ask about the next step.

01 / THE OPEN LOOP
Some need a follow-up. Some need fresh pricing. Others belong on a later review date—or should be closed. An old date alone doesn’t tell you which.
We review the commercial context you provide, distinguish an actionable next step from missing information, and put the decision back in your team’s hands.
No promise that an old quote becomes an order. Just a more useful place to start.
02 / A DECISION FOR EVERY RECORD
We use the evidence in the record.
When context is missing, we flag the question.
A current, unresolved quote with enough context for your team to ask about the next step.
The requirement appears active, but pricing or validity needs your team’s review before sending.
The record indicates a future need or delay. Keep a reason and a date to revisit it.
The history explicitly says lost, declined, cancelled, or otherwise finished. Record the outcome.
Missing history, unclear revision, or ambiguous status. A specific question comes before a recommendation.
03 / SEE THE SHAPE OF THE WORK
All aliases, quote IDs and scenarios below are invented. This is an example of the output, not a customer case study or evidence of recovered revenue.
| Quote / alias | What the record says | Decision | Next step for your team |
|---|---|---|---|
| Q-001 Customer A | Current quote. Buyer comparing suppliers. | FOLLOW UP | Ask about decision timing and open questions. |
| Q-002 Customer B | Quote acknowledged. Promised review date passed. | FOLLOW UP | Confirm whether the requirement is still active. |
| Q-003 Customer C | Buyer requested a refresh. Quote validity expired. | REQUOTE | Review current scope and pricing internally. |
| Q-004 Customer D | Active requirement. Prior lead time no longer valid. | REQUOTE | Confirm availability before issuing a revised quote. |
| Q-005 Customer E | Program delayed until next quarter. | NURTURE | Set a review date aligned to the stated delay. |
| Q-006 Customer F | Customer requested contact after a budget review. | NURTURE | Schedule a check-in after that review. |
| Q-007 Customer G | Buyer explicitly confirmed another supplier won. | CLOSE | Record the loss reason. No follow-up draft. |
| Q-008 Customer H | Project explicitly cancelled. | CLOSE | Close the record with its documented outcome. |
| Q-009 Customer I | Two quote revisions. Current revision unclear. | NEEDS REVIEW | Ask which revision is customer-facing. |
| Q-010 Customer J | Note says “waiting.” Activity history is missing. | NEEDS REVIEW | Ask who is waiting on whom, and for what. |
04 / START SMALL
Start with 10 non-sensitive records. We review whether the data can support a useful action plan before discussing a paid sprint.
A small example of the classifications, missing-information questions and recommended next steps your team would receive.
Get a Free 10-Quote ReviewUp to 100 records, subject to scope and data suitability. A reviewed recovery workbook, prioritized action queue, draft messages where appropriate, clarification questions and a management summary.
Your team approves pricing, capacity and every customer message. No CRM implementation, mailbox investigation, engineering analysis or customer outreach is included. Delivery timing and scope are agreed before work starts.
05 / KEEP THE INPUT SIMPLE
Customer aliases are welcome. A basic spreadsheet is enough to begin a discussion.
Download the blank intake templateQuote ID, customer alias, quote date, last activity date, validity date, current status and a short non-sensitive note. Quoted value is optional. Mark unknowns explicitly.
No drawings, CAD, margins, passwords, bank details, customer contact lists or controlled technical data. Remove personal information and confidential part or program identifiers. Do not send export-controlled, regulated or otherwise restricted information.
Start with an inquiry only. Do not attach real quote records to your first message. We agree the scope, permitted data, transfer method, processing tools, access and retention/deletion terms before you share an export. Confirm that you have permission to share it.
